Lewis R. Gordon, Temple University

Lewis Gordon is the Laura H. Carnell Professor of Philosophy, Religion, and Jewish Studies at Temple University, where he also directs the Center for Afro-Jewish Studies. His books include Bad Faith and Antiblack Racism (Humanity Books, 1995/1999), Fanon and the Crisis of European Man (Routledge, 1995), Existentia Africana (Routledge, 2000), Disciplinary Decadence (Paradigm, 2006), An Introduction to Africana Philosophy (Cambridge, 2008), and, with Jane Anna Gordon, Of Divine Warning: Reading Disaster in the Modern Age (Paradigm, 2009).
